TERMS & CONDITIONS
The special price advertised is subject to approval of the Solar Homes and Communities Federal Government Rebate in the amount of $8000 being paid to SolarSwitch Pty Ltd (ABN 27 126 647 069). The Solar Homes and Communities rebate is for owner, occupied homes and is means tested (as this could change please contact SolarSwitch for more details on means test). The customer also agrees to assign the RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates) earned by the system to SolarSwitch Pty Ltd as part of this supply agreement and advertised discounted price.
The special price advertised is subject to a site inspection. Small surcharges may apply depending on the difficulty of the installation. These are determined prior to order.
The advertised price DOES NOT include purchase and installation of the bi-directional meter (approx $300-$400), which will be charged to you by your electricity provider following installation of solar system. In some states of Australia this meter is provided and installed free of charge by your energy provider.
Any deposit paid to SolarSwitch Pty Ltd is fully refundable and the order cancelled without penalty if the applicant does not receive Federal Government Rebate or grid connection approval to convert to solar energy.
A cancellation fee of $200 is payable if the customer simply changes their mind.
Any performance figures indicated by SolarSwitch Pty Ltd are given in good faith but are estimates only. SolarSwitch Pty Ltd accepts no liability if the system does not attain these estimates. Performance varies based on the orientation and pitch of the roof, shading and weather patterns, which are beyond the control of SolarSwitch Pty Ltd.
Due to the volatility of the solar panel market SolarSwitch reserves the right to provide different panels and/or inverters than those specified on a customer’s order form. The nearest equivalent panels and/or inverter will be supplied.
SolarSwitch Pty Ltd only recommends Business Council Of Sustainable Energy (BCSE) certified and insured installers. The installer is solely responsible for the workmanship and/or any damages during or resulting from the installation.
SolarSwitch Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its discretion
