The SolarSwitch team visit the SilexSolar manufacturing plant at Homebush Bay in Sydney

SolarSwitch has added an Australian made and owned moncrystalline solar panel to its premium range that already included modules from prestigious German Multi-National Conergy and the most efficient panel in the world the 300W SunPower panel.

SilexSolar took over the previous BP Solar manufacturing facility at Sydney Olympic Park in Homebush and are now the largest integrated PV cell and solar panel manufacturing plant in the Southern Hemisphere and the only commercial manufacturer of solar cells and panels in Australia. Silex has large research and development and testing facilities to ensure the highest quality and have employed some of the world’s most highly experienced and well respected experts in the solar panel industry, some with over 20 years experience. SilexSolar has partnered with the best minds from the University of NSW and ANU to fulfil their commitment to industry leading PV innovation.
